Get ready to attend The School for Good and Evil this fall. Netflix has released the official key art for the fantasy film featuring Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron. As revealed on the poster, the movie will start streaming globally on Oct. 21, 2022. The tagline also teases that in The School for Good and Evil, there are "two sides to every story."
The School for Good and Evil is based on the international best-selling book series by Soman Chainani, following best friends Sophie and Agatha as they find themselves on opposing sides of an epic battle at an enchanted school, where aspiring heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance between Good and Evil. "In the village of Gavaldon, two misfits and best friends, Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie), share the unlikeliest of bonds. Sophie, a golden-haired seamstress, dreams of escaping her dreary life to become a princess, while Agatha, with her grim aesthetic and offbeat mother, has the makings of a real witch. One night under a blood red moon, a powerful force sweeps them away to the School for Good and Evil — where the true stories behind every great fairy tale begin. Paul Feig directed The School for Good and Evil. The film stars Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Peter Serafinowicz, Rob Delaney, Mark Heap, Patti LuPone, and Rachel Bloom with Kerry Washington and Charlize Theron. An official first look teaser trailer at the movie has also been previously released. The trailer provides some snippets of the film's various characters, though it is a bit brief. With the key art and release date now here, an official full trailer is likely to be coming along as well in the near future.
The School for Good and Evil starts streaming on Netflix globally on Oct. 23, 2022.
