What starts out as an uneventful night for three Boy Scouts turns into a fight for survival in the first red band trailer and poster for Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This footage comes on the heels of the first clips released last month, shortly after the zombie comedy changed its title from Scouts Vs Zombies to Scout's Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This age-restricted trailer from Machinima does contain nudity, and shouldn't be watched by anyone over the age of 18.

Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world's most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they'll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead. Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and newcomer Joey Morgan, who makes his feature film debut, star as these socially-inept Boy Scouts, with Halston Sage portraying the shotgun-wielding cocktail waitress Kendall.

The supporting cast is rounded out by David Koechner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Dumont and Cloris Leachman in this zombie comedy that hits theaters October 30. The film will go up against Warner Bros.' Our Brand Is Crisis and Relativity's Autobahn at the box office on Halloween weekend. It's possible that Autobahn may be pulled from the release schedule or delayed, given Relativity's bankruptcy proceedings, but we'll have to wait and see.

Christopher Landon directs from a script he co-wrote with Emi Mochizuki, Carrie Evans and Lona Williams. Christopher Landon is no stranger to the horror genre, having written the scripts for Paranormal Activity 3, Paranormal Activity 4 and making his directorial debut last year with Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. His other writing credits include Disturbia and Burning Palms.
