When the apocalypse happens, of course the first place you're going is the local strip club. Two scout friends do just that in the latest red band look at Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. While one of them goes to the ATM for cash, the other finds a spot in the mostly deserted watering hole. Neon lights shine on an empty stage. There are no other patrons left in the building...Or are there?
What starts out as an uneventful night for three Boy Scouts turns into a fight for survival in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This blood-soaked clip contained a lot of top shelf nudity, and isn't meant for anyone under the age of 18. Just as the zombie stripper goes to make her deadly move, one of the Scouts makes it rain dollar bills. This sends the undead woman to the stripper pole, where she carries out her usual routine. As she swings down, her neck keeps going, showering the two kids with thick red ooze. A battle ensues, as the two teens go to hide behind the bar. What happens next is not for the faint of heart, or anyone who hates a good hearty mixture of gore and laughs.
In Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world's most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they'll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead. Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and newcomer Joey Morgan, who makes his feature film debut, star as these socially-inept Boy Scouts, with Halston Sage portraying the shotgun-wielding cocktail waitress Kendall.
The supporting cast is rounded out by David Koechner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Dumont and Cloris Leachman in this zombie comedy that hits theaters October 30. The film will go up against Warner Bros.' Our Brand Is Crisis and Relativity's Autobahn at the box office on Halloween weekend. It's possible that Autobahn may be pulled from the release schedule or delayed, given Relativity's bankruptcy proceedings, but we'll have to wait and see.
Christopher Landon directs from a script he co-wrote with Emi Mochizuki, Carrie Evans and Lona Williams. Christopher Landon is no stranger to the horror genre, having written the scripts for Paranormal Activity 3, Paranormal Activity 4 and making his directorial debut last year with Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. His other writing credits include Disturbia and Burning Palms. As part of a new distribution deal, Scouts Vs Zombies will arrive on home video and VOD within 17 days of the film nearing its theatrical exit. That's exciting news, right? Take a look at the latest footage featuring one very leaky stripper and two very confused boys. This could very well be the movie of the Halloween season!
