The zombie genre is more popular than ever these days, with The Walking Dead dominating the small screen. On the big screen, Paramount's Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse took a very different approach to the undead genre, showcasing a group of Eagle Scouts who use their vast array of skills to survive. With this outrageous comedy arriving on Digital HD this week, ahead of its Blu-ray and DVD release January 5, we have a special giveaway lined up with one of the most unique prizes we've ever offered: Your very own Zombie Cat.

One of the most memorable scenes in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse features young Augie (Joey Morgan) realizing that he has a zombie cat on his back. Now you can terrorize your friends and family members with this custom made Zombie cat, created by special makeup effects designer and supervisor Tony Gardner. His company Alterian provided the makeup effects for Johnny Knoxville's character in Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, which were nominated for an Academy Award. How could you pass up a chance to win a Zombie Cat created by an Oscar-nominated artist?

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse stars Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller and newcomer Joey Morgan as three Scouts and lifelong friends, who join forces with one bad-ass cocktail waitress (Halston Sage) to become the world's most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they'll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead. David Koechner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Dumont and Cloris Leachman round out the supporting cast of this zombie comedy.

Christopher Landon directs from a script he co-wrote with Emi Mochizuki, Carrie Evans and Lona Williams. Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse hit theaters less than two months ago, but, as part of a new distribution deal, this horror-comedy will arrive on home video and VOD much sooner than usual. Unfortunately, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse didn't fare so well in theaters, taking in just $3.7 million domestically and $14.5 million worldwide from a $15 million budget. But now you can enjoy this zombie comedy from the comfort of your own home on Digital HD, before the Blu-ray and DVD arrives January 5.
