It seems that Robert Rodriguez has found his new writer. Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that screenwriter Alex Litvak has been tapped to write Predators.

It was said that the project is being written as a sequel, with a team of soldiers that encounter this mysterious race of beings. The sequel is already set with a release date of July 9, 2010.

No director has been set for the project yet, since it was said that Rodriguez will not be directing, only producing. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any developments surrounding this new film.
