Comic-Con 2010 marked the debut screening of the eighth entry in the ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original films, Batman: Under the Red Hood which is coming to DVD and Blu-ray July 27th. The film is based on the popular graphic novel by writer Judd Winick and follows the death of the second Robin and the rise of a new Gotham vigilante called the Red Hood. As Batman comes to terms with his failure to protect his sidekick and faces off with his new rival, hard truths are revealed, old wounds are reopened and the Dark Knight will have to overcome his fears if he hopes to defeat the Red Hood. On hand to discuss the exciting new movie were the films stars Bruce Greenwood and Vincent Martella, as well as executive producer Bruce W. Timm, writer Judd Winick and casting director Andrea Romano. Fans also got to see a sneak peak at the next DC Original animated movie, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.
