Family Guy is one of the few shows on TV that have proven that new life can be given to a show, even after it was canceled. Fox took the show off the air in 2002 and, after immense success on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim lineup, and a string of hit DVD releases, Fox brought the show back in 2005 and they haven't looked back ever since. Family Guy will return with its ninth season on Fox, which is set to premiere on September 26 and the cast and crew returned to Comic-Con with voice talent Alex Borstein (Lois Griffin), writer Steve Callaghan and writer Mark Hentemann to discuss the upcoming 9th season and the show's new /family-guy-its-a-trap-comes-dvd-and-blu-ray-on-december-21st/Star Wars: Return of the Jedi parody.
