The Breathtaker: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sean Hood has been brought on board to write The Breathtaker, a horror thriller that John Wells is producing via his shingle, John Wells Prods.

The project is based on Alice Blanchard's novel, which was published in November and was a selection of the Today Show book club. It follows a small-town police chief's pursuit of a serial killer who strikes only during tornadoes, brutally killing his victims in the eye of the storm.
