It seems the Farrelly Brothers long-awaited remake is back on track. The Boston Herald is reporting that Sean Penn is set to return to The Three Stooges.

Penn left the project back in June to concentrate on his family and his then-troubled marriage with actress Robin Wright Penn. Now, according to Bobby Farrelly, Penn is back on board.

"We got him back," Bobby Farrelly told the Track. "He always said he wanted to do it after, you know, taking care of his family."

The Farrelly Brothers start shooting their new film, Hall Pass, starring Owen Wilson, in Atlanta next month, and it was said that the Farrelly's were also scouting locations for The Three Stooges while in Atlanta for that film.

It was also said that while Penn is back as Larry and Benecio del Toro is still interested in playing Moe, Curly has yet to be cast. CLICK HERE for the full article.
