According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures has won a bidding war for a comedy with the MPAA-challenged title of Cockblocker by writer by Greg Coolidge.

Seann William Scott and Topher Grace are attached to star.

Scott will produce with his Identity Films partner Graham Larson, as will H2F's Walter Hamada and Chris Fenton. Grace and Michael De Luca also are on board to produce. The deal is still in negotiations.

Cockblocker follows a guy (Grace) who meets the girl of his dreams, only to find out that her best friend happens to be her ex-boyfriend (Scott). It is based on an idea by Coolidge and Hamada. Coolidge will commence writing immediately.
