Writer-director-star Seth MacFarlane returns to the silver screen next month with A Million Ways to Die in the West, his second feature film following 2012's blockbuster Ted. Universal Pictures has released a new TV spot for this Western comedy during the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, which follows a cowardly farmer who finds his courage with the help of a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron), who happens to be the wife of a dangerous outlaw. Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Neil Patrick Harris, Giovanni Ribisi and Sarah Silverman round out the cast of this summer period comedy, in theaters May 30.

After a cowardly sheep farmer backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
