With the July 31 release date just a few months away, Focus Features has started a viral campaign for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Self/less, which should mean that the first trailer is right around the corner. While we wait for the first footage to debut, the studio has released a viral clip that introduces us to Phoenix Biogenic, the leader in "consciousness transfer technology." This facility is used in Self/less by the wealthy who want to transfer their minds into a different "vessel."

In this provocative psychological science fiction thriller, an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body's origin and the organization that will kill to protect its cause.

The viral site PhoenixBiogenic has also been launched, where users can explore the different "vessels" their consciousness can be transferred to, and take a look at the state-of-the-art facilities where this all takes place. Tarsem Singh directs this sci-fi thriller, which co-stars Matthew Goode, Michelle Dockery, Natalie Martinez, Derek Luke and Victor Garber. Check out the viral video and photos below, and stay tuned for the first trailer.
