The Alibi: According to Variety, Selma Blair, John Leguizamo and Sam Elliott have joined the cast of The Alibi, a co-production of Summit Entertainment and Endgame Entertainment. Directed by first-time helmers Kurt Matilla and Matt Checkowski, pic begins principal photography this week.

Steve Coogan and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos star in the pic, which concerns a guy who creates alibis for cheating spouses. Circumstances force him to confront his own criminal past to get a client out of a murder charge.

James Brolin, James Marsden and Jaime King fill out the cast.
