If you've been following all of the news regarding this weekend's 85th Annual Academy Awards, then you likely know music will play a key factor in the awards ceremony. Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have a tribute lined up that honors the best musicals of the past 10 years, including Chicago, Dreamgirls and this year's Best Picture nominee Les Miserables, along with performances by Adele, Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand. Today, we have word that the Sunday night festivities will be capped off by one final song-and-dance routine, performed by none other than Oscar host Seth MacFarlane and Broadway sensation Kristin Chenoweth. Here's what Craig Zadan briefly had to say about the closing number.

"We want to have an actual ending."

The Academy Awards typically end in a very rushed fashion, but that will all change on Sunday. This year, fans should definitely stick around to see what Seth MacFarlane and Kristin Chenoweth have in store for the show's closing moments. Here's what Neil Meron teased about the grand finale.

"It will be one big, can't-miss thing."

Kristin Chenoweth will also be serving as a red carpet correspondent during the Oscars pre-show, adding a friendlier flavor to the event, according to Craig Zadan.

"We have news people there, but we also wanted somebody who is not a news person, who is a star and who is friends with all these people so that the conversation can be different. It's more like old friends seeing each other and getting together."

Barbra Streisand will sing on the Oscar stage for the first time in 36 years on Sunday night. While Craig Zadan wouldn't reveal exactly what she is singing, he said it will 'blow people away.'

"She hasn't sung on the show in 36 years, and she has only sung once before. So we went to her right away and explained our concept for the show. During the course of the show, at some point, Barbra Streisand is going to come on and do something really special and blow people away."
