CBS Films is in negotiations to co-finance and distribute Seven Psychopaths from In Bruges director Martin McDonagh. We first reported on this project back in May when Mickey Rourke, Christopher Walken, and Sam Rockwell joined the cast.

The comedy centers on Colin Farrell's character, a sceenwriter who is stuck on his latest script entitled Seven Psychopaths. He gets caught up in his friends' (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) plot to kidnap a gangster's (Mickey Rourke) dog, which gives him the inspiration needed to finish his script, if he can survive.

Martin McDonagh is directing from his own original screenplay. Graham Broadbent and Peter Czernin are producing Seven Psychopaths, with Tessa Ross attached as executive producer.

Seven Psychopaths will begin production in Los Angeles later this fall.
