One of this past summer's successful films is inching closer to a sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sex and the City 2 is getting closer to a done deal, with the four lead actresses - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - have all signed their deals for the sequel.

Sex and the City: The Movie writer-director Michael Patrick King has also finalized his deal with New Line to return as writer-director as well. There has been no start-date set as of yet, but it was said that they might be aiming for a 2010 release.

Plot details weren't revealed, but Patrick King had said earlier that he would change up the tone and introduce some surprises if a sequel were to go forward.
