ATO Pictures has picked up theatrical rights to James Marsh's drama Shadow Dancer, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival.

Andrea Riseborough stars in Shadow Dancer as a woman who is forced to spy on her family members in order to protect her son. The story is set in 1993 Northern Ireland. Clive Owen, Aidan Gillen, Gillian Anderson, and Domhnall Gleeson also star.

James Marsh directs Shadow Dancer from a screenplay by Tom Bradby, who adapted his own non-fiction book. It isn't clear when ATO Pictures plans to release Shadow Dancer.

James Marsh is best known for directing documentaries such as Man on Wire and last year's Project Nim.
