Shainee Gabel has agreed to write the screenplay for The Thing About Jane Spring for Paramount Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The book, a romantic comedy by Sharon Krum, is about a 30-something woman who just can't find the right guy.

There's no production schedule yet for The Thing About Jane Spring.
