Zachary Levi says he had a little help in the padding department for his Shazam! suit. The actor absolutely got into superhero shape to play the part, but even heroes need some extra padding from time to time. DC fans were stunned when the Chuck actor was announced to take on the role and even more so when they saw him in the suit for the first time. With that being said, unofficial leaks from the set had some fans thinking that the suit was all padding, which sparked a heated debate on social media.

As it turns out, the Shazam! suit padding debate still rages on, though it has quieted down a lot over the past few months. The latest talk about the padding came when a fan on social media asked Zachary Levi how he can become Shazam. The actor responded by telling the fan, "Better eat yer Wheaties." This prompted another fan to chime in by saying that it still makes her mad that he gets called out for the padding. Levi then responded, "I meeeaaannn...it was a liiiiiittle padded."

It was a humorous way to talk about the situation and Zachary Levi clearly loves talking about anything having to do with Shazam! Levi is currently gearing up for the Shazam 2 and is very excited that it's happening. This means he will be hitting the gym once again to get into superhero shape, which means there will probably be another debate about padding yet again. Whatever the case may be, Levi will indeed be physically ready when the time comes and he will probably have a little bit of help again.

As for outright denying that there was any padding in the Shazam! suit, Zachary Levi has never said that there wasn't. And when it comes down to it, who really cares? The actor did a great job in the part and DC fans are excited to see him back on the big screen as the character. Part of the fun of the movie is how everything is exaggerated, even Levi's muscles. Let's hope that they go and make him even bigger next time with crazy over the top guns.

As for Shazam! 2 news, we're still waiting for some official announcements. Zachary Levi has said in the past that the sequel could start production as soon as next summer, but that has yet to be confirmed at this time. Black Adam goes into production next year starring Dwayne Johnson. Regardless, the Billy Batson side of DC is starting to heat up on the big screen and we're probably going to see a lot more of Levi and his over-exaggerated superhero muscles in the years to come.
