The first four episodes of the next foray into the MCU on the small screen, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, have now been seen by a lucky few – and the verdict is in. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law introduces Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner, who is suddenly thrown into superhero stardom following an accident that results in Jennifer transforming into a Hulk. You can see what audiences think of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law below.

Much of the praise for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been aimed directly at series lead and Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany. Maslany plays Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk in the Disney+ show, with early reactions finding her to be a very welcome addition to the MCU.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has previously been described as a full on comedy, and it sounds like it has delivered in that regard. Many have applauded the series for leaning so heavily into its sitcom trappings, while others have described She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as the perfect mixture of everything that has made the Marvel Cinematic Universe so successful.

However, despite a lot of positivity from many, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is not without its flaws. One viewer was far from enamored with Marvel’s latest offering after the first two episodes, and is not a fan of what the MCU is doing with The Hulk.

Overall though, it sounds like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a fun outing for the franchise and is sure to be chock-full of crowd-pleasing Easter eggs and references.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is the first straight-up comedy from Marvel Studios and finds Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner, obtaining her own superpowers and giant, green form following an accident that sees her blood mixed with the Hulk’s. Now able to become the 6-foot-7 green superhero known as She-Hulk, Jennifer is put in charge of handling cases involving other superhumans. Including the likes of ex-Hulk villain, The Abomination.

The series is led by Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk, with Avengers: Endgame star Mark Ruffalo due to reprise his role as Bruce Banner AKA The Hulk. Actor Tim Roth also returns, reprising his role as Emil Blonsky AKA Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, with Benedict Wong starring once again as Wong. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also stars Ginger Gonzaga as Nikki Ramos, Jennifer’s best friend and Jameela Jamil as the villainous social media influencer, Titania, alongside Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Drew Matthews, and David Otunga.

By far one of the most exciting things about She-Hulk: Attorney at Law though is the return of Daredevil star Charlie Cox. Cox has already reprised the role of Matt Murdock in last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, but this is the first we have seen of his alter ego since his standalone Netflix series was canceled back in 2018. His comeback in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will launch the character into a new Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is scheduled to premiere on August 18, 2022 on Disney+ and will consist of nine episodes, concluding on October 13 as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
