It seems that Disney has already begun to improve the look of She-Hulk in the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The studio shared the recently released trailer to the show’s Disney+ page, but this time the footage comes in a much higher quality, with some improvements having been made to the rendering of the titular superhero. So clear are the changes that fans have since taken to social media to make some comparisons...

The long-awaited trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law landed last week, and while the footage has quickly proven itself popular in terms of viewership, garnering 78 million views in the first 24 hours, the response to the look of the Marvel character’s live-action debut has been mixed. Many took to Twitter to share their thoughts, with a lot of Marvel fans concerned that the CGI used to bring She-Hulk to life looked unfinished and unrealistic.

Well, with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law still three months away from release, Marvel Studios have quickly gotten to work. After seeing the trailer, some wondered whether there was more left to do with the CGI on She-Hulk, and it seems that they were absolutely correct. While the changes are not overly stark, the re-released trailer clearly shows some improvements to the definition of the character’s face, and the general shadow and shading, all of which make She-Hulk look more like a real person and less like a video game cutscene character from the early nineties.

It has since been revealed that She-Hulk has gone through more CGI changes than anybody assumed, with a VFX insider revealing that the design began with a much more muscular version of the Marvel hero.

"I was at a company that did VFX for this,” revealed someone who worked on the project. “Apparently, she was bigger early on, but the notes kept saying to 'make her smaller. We always roll our eyes (like we did on Sonic) but at the end of the day artists gotta follow orders."
