On August 17, 2022, we are set to return to the MCU's hulking expertise with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Bruce Banner and his gamma-powered alter ego Hulk have received some strong character arcs despite not being able to get their own solo film or series in the MCU, not counting 2008's The Incredible Hulk. Now his comic book cousin, Jennifer Walters, a.k.a. She-Hulk, is getting her time in the spotlight in the form of a Disney+ 9-episode series, and you don't want to make her mad. Be excited, for Tatiana Maslany brings a dynamic resume to the role of She-Hulk and looks to be a fantastic choice for such a dynamic heroine. As time goes by, anticipation for this series grows, theories are crafted, and speculations about side/guest characters' appearances are made.

As seen in the trailer for She-Hulk, we will be getting a few MCU characters one would expect in a She-Hulk project, such as Hulk and Abomination (Emil Blonsky), but we do not see many recurring faces. With the MCU having built such a diverse cast of characters and with a track record of allowing for crossovers and cameos, we can definitely expect to see more of the characters we adore in this series. While many people seem to agree with the notion that the MCU doesn't need to continue to shove irrelevant characters down viewers' throats where they don't fit, the She-Hulk series is absolutely one where we are looking for guest stars and side characters. Here are a few Marvel characters that we hope can make an appearance in the upcoming MCU project, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

8 Daredevil

Daredevil
Disney Platform Distribution

Matt Murdock, also known as the vigilante Daredevil, possibly holds the biggest hope for an appearance in She-Hulk in the eyes of the general audience. Being a lawyer and all, Murdock fits very easily into the setting of a courtroom, and we just got our first direct piece of Murdock as a "very good lawyer" in a quick Sipder-Man: No Way Home scene. While it was an amazing thing to see the beloved blind anti-hero Daredevil make a cameo-like appearance in the most recent Spider-Man film, the fans need more! He would be a fantastic side character in the series, and in all honesty it is a no-brainer to include him.

7 Jessica Jones

Krysten Ritter in Jessica Jones
Netflix

Like Daredevil, Jessica Jones has appeared in her own solo series on Netflix, though unlike Daredevil, she hasn't made the transition over to the direct MCU timeline/continuity. While Jessica Jones is no lawyer, she is definitely a hardcore anti-hero type heroine, one who is familiar with our main protagonist pretty well. To fans' dismay, many of the Marvel-Netflix series' characters have been left out of the main MCU line of films. With rights to the characters reverting to Marvel fairly recently, and the introduction of Charile Cox's Daredevil on the big screen, one can only pray there will be more carryovers for some of the Netflix Defenders characters.

6 Foggy Nelson

Foggy Nelson
Netflix Streaming Services

Our final entry coming from the Marvel-Netflix series will be the one and only Foggy Nelson. While Foggy isn't a superhero per se, he is Matt Murdock's partner and a damn good lawyer as well. Foggy has a strong moral compass, but also knows his worth, having ditched his best friend, Matt, for other opportunities in the past. Who's to blame him, though? Matt is a loose canon at times, being a victim-defending lawyer by day and a crime-fighting vigilante by night. Foggy may not be the common viewer's first choice for a cameo or supporting role in the upcoming She-Hulk series, but true Marvel fans know this man's worth. With the series likely being in a courtroom setting a good deal of the time, and with Foggy's expertise, he would be a fantastic fit for the show.

5 Echo

Echo
Disney Platform Distributions

Echo is a character we were introduced to recently in the Hawkeye Disney+ series as the main antagonist for that series. In Hawkeye, she was the leader of the tracksuit mafia and somewhat of an adopted niece of Kingpin. She is a Daredevil villain, and sometimes anti-hero, who finds herself at odds with many do-gooders in her early origins, thanks to the manipulation of the Kingpin. Echo is set to receive her own solo series on Disney+ in the foreseeable future, but it would do her some justice to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as well, especially if Daredevil makes an appearance. Alaqua Cox, the actress who plays Echo, has done a stellar job in her performance in Hawkeye, becoming one of the better young characters, building herself up to be quite a threat, or ally. Betrayal, manipulation, and being a kick-butt fighter will do that to you; just look at Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow.

4 Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)

Kate Bishop
Disney Platform Distributions

On the topic of better, young, up-and-coming characters, we have Kate Bishop, the new Hawkeye. Kate Bishop is a newly introduced teenage heroine who dubs herself "The World's Best Archer," and she has a very good claim to that, as seen in Hawkeye. Kate is charismatic, a natural leader, and all-around awesome. Where she lacks experience, she makes up for it with moxy and resolve. Bishop has quickly made a name for herself as being a stand-up woman, willing to do good in the face of evil no matter what. A team-up with She-Hulk may be something we didn't previously know we needed. It would be especially exciting to see a more seasoned Kate Bishop show up in She-Hulk, or another property for that matter, truly representing the title of Hawkeye in an amazing light.

3 Wong

Wong
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

The current Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, has evolved since his MCU debut in 2016's Doctor Strange, where he was a librarian. He was the keeper of many mystical and powerful books, but nonetheless a librarian. Wong has since been in a handful of MCU projects and has truly cemented himself as one of the best supporting characters in all of Marvel. Most recently, he appeared in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, and before that, he appeared in Shang-Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings. In the Shang-Chi film, Wong was seen fighting the Abomination, Emil Blonsky, before it was revealed he had been assisting in some kind of training for Blonsky. Wong is a character that could quite literally fit into almost any project, and we would love to see him in at least a cameo in the upcoming She-Hulk series.

2 Betty Ross

Betty Ross
Universal Pictures

Betty Ross is a character that hasn't been mentioned much, if at all, let alone seen, since her role in 2008's The Incredible Hulk. She is the love interest of Bruce Banner and the daughter of General Thunderbolt Ross. She has also attained some pretty amazing powers during a few comic runs, and is a fantastic person by most accounts. Fans of Hulk and the MCU alike have been anticipating Betty's return to the big screen for some time now, though there may have been issues bringing her on due to ownership rights. Betty Ross' addition to the upcoming She-Hulk series would be long awaited and fulfilling for many fans of Marvel.

1 Red Hulk

Red Hulk
Marvel Comics

Now, our last entry on the list possibly holds the most anticipated, asked-for, and desired addition to the Hulk family ever requested. The Red Hulk, also known as General Thunderbolt Ross, has been long rumored to appear in the MCU, though we have yet to see any indication that this is coming any time soon. Because of the lack of buildup for Red Hulk and the unfortunate passing of Thunderbolt Ross' actor, William Hurt, we may not get to see this hulking character in the MCU. While we mourn the loss of beloved actor William Hurt, we also feel that to do his MCU character some justice would be to have him go through his comic book Red Hulk transformation, finally. Whether it is through pure CGI, or maybe even a recasting, having the Red Hulk join the MCU roster would be a huge win for everyone.
