She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has already delivered a number of cameo appearances, but according to star Ginger Gonzaga, the show has some cameos coming that no one will be expecting. From the initial trailer for She-Hulk, there was no secret made about some of the MCU stars who would be appearing in the series such as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Wong and Emil Blonsky. However, as the series heads into its second half it looks like there still some surprise characters from the pages of Marvel Comics to come.

Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been a mixed bag for many fans, with some loving the fun, comedy show and others constantly trying to compare it to more serious Marvel fare such as Iron Man and the Avengers movies. She-Hulk is not trying to be another big Marvel epic, as there are clearly plenty of those coming in the next few years, and it has instead delivered another experimental piece of storytelling to the MCU.

While discussing She-Hulk with TVLine, Gonzaga, who stars in the series as Nikki Ramos, teased that the series is changing how some of the heroes and villains of Marvel are viewed, and fans shouldn’t think that all of the surprise appearances have been given away in promotional material. She said:

"The show is now definitely switching into what it looks like when you have petty, idiot supervillains and superheroes who are either antagonizing you or need to be represented by you. The thing about working in a superhuman law division is we can represent anyone, so we get comic book characters that haven’t entered the Marvel Universe yet, that you haven’t seen in any of the trailers. You get to see the idiocy of the ridiculously fun superheroes who have legal trouble and may or may not listen to their attorneys. I’m really excited for people to see these guest stars that are in the comic books."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been making the most its fourth wall breaking and the more meta elements of the series’ format when it comes to expanding the MCU and leaning into fan comments and gripes about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series has already laid down some groundwork in its opening episodes to suggest that there are many “new superheroes coming out of the woodwork.” While this is something of a throwaway line, it hints that there are many heroes that have been hiding their non-human tendencies and are only now starting to reveal themselves. This has been taken by many to hint at the coming of the X-Men.

In addition to this potential tease, one news article glimpsed in the series has all but mentioned Wolverine, with a story about a man fighting with metal claws during a bar fight, and there could well be more than this kind of foreshadowing in the coming episodes. In addition to future teases, the series has also been answering fan criticisms in similar ways, like referencing the “giant head” that is sticking out of the ocean in relation Eternals finale, which many fans have pointed out has not been mentioned since in any MCU movie.

There are seemingly no limits to the amount of knowing winks and nods that She-Hulk could deliver in its remaining episodes, and even if some fans are not completely on board with the series, for Easter egg hunters the show is turning into a real gold mine. The first four episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law are streaming now on Disney+ with new episodes debuting every week.
