She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has provided a pretty solid MCU entry, despite some fans not being quite on board with the full-on comedy angle of the show, and with the series now more than half done, it seems we are going to get a bit of a shake-up according to director Anu Valia. The show is currently a “limited series,” which means that it will likely come to a set ending in the next four weeks and as director of episodes 5-7, Valia has said that the series will not deliver what fans are expecting. She recently told ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero:

"Yeah, I'm just excited. I think where the rest of the season goes is so fun and different, and ideally not what you expect. And so I'm hoping people are surprised and a little like, 'Oh, they're having some fun with this.' So just keep watching it. I really think it'll be fun. I hope people like it. I'm not going to share any spoilers, because I think you'll love to watch [it], and genuinely, I think it'll be fun to go on that journey with her, but I think what's beautiful about the show is it's so funny. And then in addition to that, the show is very interested in exploring these very complicated ideas of identity. And how do you own an identity that's been thrust on you where at times you like it, but at times makes you feel bad about the other side of yourself? That's a very complicated idea. And I think the show does want to go deep in that way. And so it's very cool."

She-Hulk Has Set Up a Number of Teases for The MCU’s Future

While there are many ways in which She-Hulk is different from all other MCU shows and movies, it has provided a number of teases for things that could be happening in the future, and they could possibly figure in the final episodes.

The series opened with Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Smart Hulk featuring heavily in the story before he was last seen heading off on a spaceship to “sort” some things. While there have been plenty of rumors about upcoming Hulk projects, this tease is something that could be returned to by the end of She-Hulk, or may simply be left hanging as a thread to be picked up a number of years down the line.

Additionally, there has been the inclusion of Tim Roth’s Abomination, teases of the X-Men, the series regular villain Titania, Wong, who may or may not make another appearance, and of course that upcoming appearance by Daredevil, which is expected to tease his next appearances in Echo and his own Daredevil Born Again. All in all, this leaves plenty of scope for She-Hulk’s conclusion, and whether that means we are heading to the kind of barnstorming final that WandaVision led to is something that we are still a few weeks away from discovering. By then, the real question is where and when we will see She-Hulk again.
