French movie site Cinema Teaser revealed that actor Gilles Lellouche has joined the cast of Sherlock Holmes II.

The Guy Ritchie sequel is currently in production, and is prepping to shoot in Paris and Strasbourg, France. The French daily newspaper Les Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace revealed these production details:

"The filming will take place for a few days at the foot of Notre Dame. During this period, Haberdasher Street merchants, in particular, should lower the curtain and the area would be cordoned off. Production would have expected to compensate them based on their weekly figure."

The newspaper also revealed that the movie's main stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, will not appear in these scenes shot by the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

It wasn't revealed what role Gilles Lellouche would play, although Cinema Teaser speculated that he could play The Swede. We'll keep you posted with any further Sherlock Holmes II details as soon as we have more information.
