Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Paul and John Turturro have joined the cast of Exodus for 20th Century Fox. Sigourney Weaver is reuniting with director Ridley Scott for the first time since Alien in 1979.

Christian Bale is already set to star as Moses, who leads his Israelites out of Egypt and eventually to the Promised Land. Joel Edgerton signed on earlier this month to play the Pharoah Ramses. Aaron Paul plays the Hebrew slave Joseph, who takes over for Moses on this harrowing journey, with Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro playing Ramses' parents.

Steven Zaillian rewrote the original script by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, with Peter Chernin set to produce alongside Steven Zaillian and Garrett Basch of FilmRites. Production is scheduled to begin next month, with shooting to take place in England, Spain and Morocco.
