Can you believe this? Idiocracy is slowly but surely living up to its prophecies. For the first time in history, a super hero will appear on a piece of legal tender. Yes, that's right. For a brief moment in time, the Silver Surfer will be replacing George Washington on the American Quarter.

20th Century Fox and the Franklin Mint have teamed up to make a coin that celebrates the release of Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer. And it's a pretty neat looking little twenty-five cent piece.
