HBO Max isn’t done yet with its purge of animation. Last week, the streaming service unceremoniously pulled over a dozen shows from its service. According to TV Line, six more titles will be added to that list. Here are their summaries below. The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie (working title) is set to be a follow-up to the cliffhanger of a series finale. The film follows Gumball’s biggest fan, who comes across a missing episode from the beloved television show and accidentally opens a portal between the cartoon world and his own. The fan then teams up with the Watterson family to save Elmore from the strange new menace. Series creator Ben Bocquelet is credited with directing and executive producer of the film.

These are six more animation projects that HBO Max has continued to pull the rug out from under. The decision comes shortly after a merger between Warner and Discovery but has been drawing much criticism from not just the fans but from staff as well. Multiple crew members and directors have come forward stating that they were not warned of the decision to have their shows pulled. The main difference with these projects is that at least they are being shopped for alternative platforms for release, a treatment not even offered to the likes of Infinity Train.
