It was a good week for a Disney classic, although the DVD charts were split three ways. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sleeping Beauty 50th Anniversary Edition topped the national DVD sales charts for the week ending October 12. The Platinum Edition disc just barely beat out last week's top seller, Iron Man.

Other new releases in the top 10 for DVD sales were The Simpsons: Season 11 at the seventh spot and

30 Rock: Season 2 in the eighth spot.

The Happening debuted atop the rental charts, barely beating out another new release, You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Iron Man, last week's top rental, slipped to third place. The Happening was third on the DVD sales charts with You Don't Mess with the Zohan close behind again in fourth place.

Iron Man retained its top spot in Blu-ray sales, with Sleeping Beauty debuting in second place and The Happening taking the third spot in 1080p sales.
