The Solar Opposites red band trailer has arrived. Hulu unveiled the new series from Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland today. All 8 episodes can be streamed and the reviews generally seem to be positive so far. The streaming platform decided to give prospective viewers a chance to see what the show is all about with an insane red band trailer. This is incredibly NSFW and it has a completely different tone than Rick and Morty. You can see the trailer below.

Anything goes in the latest look at new Hulu animated series Solar Opposites and that is not an understatement. Crude sexual acts, drugs, violence, sci-fi monsters, greed, and more. It's all here in a few minutes of footage. The red band trailer should be a good barometer for people who might be on the fence about checking out Hulu's new NSFW series. While completely different from Rick and Morty, it has some of the same tones and the animation is very similar. Obviously, some of the voices are the same too. Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan are hoping to see Solar Opposites stand on its own, which should be no problem.

Co-created by Justin Roiland (co-creator of Ricky and Morty) and Mike McMahan (former head writer of Rick and Morty), this streaming animated comedy centers around a team of four aliens who have escaped their exploding home world, only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambroni) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty, while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food, and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

Solar Opposites season 1 guest actor include Alan Tudyk, Alfred Molina, Amanda Leighton, Andrew Matarazzo, Andy Daly, Calum Worthy, Chris Cox, Christina Hendricks, Echo Kellum, Eric Bauza, and Gary Anthony Williams. Gideon Adlon, Jacob Vargus, Jason Mantzoukas, Jeannie Elias, Jesse Mendel, Jon Barinholtz, Karan Brar, Kari Wahlgren, Ken Marino, Liam Cunningham, Maurice LaMarche, Miguel Sandoval, Nat Faxon, Natalie Morales, Neil Flynn, Phil LaMarr, Rainn Wilson, Rob Schrab, Ryan Ridley, Sagan McMahan, Thomas Barbusca, Tiffany Haddish, Tom Kenny, Vargus Mason, and Wendi McLendon-Covey. There's a lot of voices packed into these eight episodes and viewers should have fun identifying everyone.

Solar Opposites is executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. Series regulars include Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack, and Sean Giambrone. Hulu is off to a good start with the new series and it will be interesting to see how a new season is accepted when all is said and done.
