Sony Pictures is planning to develop Savage Planet. The studio made a preemptive purchase of the spec screenplay written by Cole Haddon.

The studio is keeping details on the storyline under wraps. The project is being produced by Alex Goldstone and Bard Dorros from Anonymous Content.

The writer has projects such as Thieves of Baghdad and The Strange Case of Hyde currently in the works.

Savage Planet is still in early development stages.
