Sony Pictures Classics has bought the rights to the comedy, The Valet, the film which Peter and Bobby Farrelly are making a remake of with DreamWorks Pictures.

The Francis Veber's French film, La Doublure stars Daniel Auteuil as a multimillionaire tycoon who's photographed kissing his famous mistress (Alice Taglioni), says The Hollywood Reporter. To prevent his wife (Kristin Scott Thomas) from seeking divorce, he bribes a parking valet (Gad Elmaleh) to pose as his mistress' lover.

Look for La Doublure in theaters in early 2007; the English-language remake with the Farrelly's is in the middle of production and has a 2008 release.
