According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has picked up all the U.S. distribution rights to Patrick Hughes' neo-western Red Hill. He wrote and directed this project.

The film stars Ryan Kwanten, Steve Bisley and Tom E. Lewis.

This film currently has no release date.

"Hughes has contemporized the revenge western with such style and adrenaline that we jumped at the opportunity to distribute such a bad ass movie," offered Sony Pictures Scott Shooman.
