Fey is confronted with a doppelganger who drastically changes her life from being perfect into a series of daunting events.

Heather, who is portrayed by Sophie Turner, has one goal in mind, and that is being the best agent. While she follows all the rules and directs her entire dedication toward her tasks, a colleague, Megan (Hailee Steinfeld), continuously gets in her way. What follows is a battle between the two characters, which fills the movie with much-needed action and allows Turner to reveal her villainous side.

Based on a book of the same name by Diane Setterfield, The Thirteenth Tale tells the story of a biography writer who interviews a famous but reclusive author who has never once told a true account of anything in her life. Turner plays the younger version of Adeline, and her performance is one of the saving graces of the film because it is obvious where the plot is going in some places. The film gives the spooky vibes of what it was like to live in a haunted house without taking things too far.

Survive is, at its core, an adventure thriller. When the plane they are traveling in crashes in the snowy mountains, Jane and Paul are the only ones to survive, but just because they made it through the crash doesn't mean they're safe. A harrowing journey to true safety and a story of survival is imminent in this miniseries. Turner gives an amazing, pulse-pounding performance as the main character Jane, who tells her story through flashbacks and memories and forces the viewer to piece it all together along with her.

The X-Men films are some of the best in the superhero genre, and while both X-Men: Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix might not live up to the hype, there is no denying that casting Sophie Turner as Jean Grey was the right call. The younger incarnation of Jean Grey, a powerful mutant who doesn't really understand her own powers and makes some bad decisions while trying to figure them out.

Turner gives Jean Grey a much more closed-off nature than Famke Jensen did, and while Dark Phoenix is a disappointing adaptation of the iconic storyline, Turner gives it her all and is easily the best performance in the film.

2 Do Revenge

Do Revenge proves that Sophie Turner doesn't necessarily need a lot of screen time in order to leave a lasting impression. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's comedy film, which was released on Netflix in 2022, centers around two strangers turned friends, Drea and Eleanor, who team up under unexpected circumstances. When both have the same goal of seeking revenge on their bullies, their friendship begins to evolve, but so does the bomb, which will eventually reveal the ugly truth.

Turner steps into the role of Erica, who definitely falls into the category of a spoiled, rich girl. Erica and Drea have a massive feud going on between them, exposing and framing each other to an extent that even involves crimes. Turner's performance in Do Revenge stands out because she seizes the opportunity to reveal her versatile acting skills, as she, even if only briefly, digs into her mean-girl-spirit and evidently nails it. Her delivery of the line "I don't do cocaine!" is one of the funniest line readings in any movie that year.
