South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have finally signed on to produce and direct the long rumored film Giant Monsters Attack Japan! The film will be a tribute to Godzilla and other rubber-suited Japanese creatures.

Despite the pair's reputation for X-rated humor, the duo are planning on making it a family movie. According to The Los Angeles Times, the guys think they can make it a PG, or even a G rated film. They're not sure where the MPAA stands on men in rubber suits wrestling with one another.

The film will contain no CGI effects, relying solely on men in latex costumes. The story will be told through the eyes of an eight year old who is transplanted to Japan. When he arrives, he discovers that ninjas and enormous creatures are just a part of everyday Tokyo life.

Paramount and Nickelodeon are producing the film. Look for it next year.
