/james-bond-24-spectre-cast-poster-plot-car/Yesterday, EON, MGM and Sony Announced the official cast of Bond 24, which is titled Spectre. While the movie will include new and old characters alike, one name the press release failed to mention was the villainous Mr. White. In an interview with Euroman, actor Jesper Christensen claims he will reprise the character from Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace for some unfinished business in this latest 007 adventure.

The Spectre title indicates that James Bond will be battling the evil organization that has haunted the 007 franchise for decades, going all the way back to Sean Connery's time with the series. But that doesn't necessarily mean the story lines set up in the previous three Daniel Craig Bond movies will be abandoned altogether. Mr. White is one of those loose ends that may finally be tied up in Spectre. About returning, Jesper Christensen states:

"I am looking forward to working with Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig. It is a truly exciting script and a very capable team. So it'll be fun."

Jesper Christensen's return was not part of Sony's official announcement yesterday, and has yet to be confirmed. In previous interviews, Jesper Christensen has not spoken fondly of his Bond experiences. So there's a chance this may not actually be happening.

Mr. White was last seen midway through Quantum of Solace, and was the only member of Quantum not to be identified by Bond. The character was originally supposed to die, but producers changed their minds, and his fate has been lingering ever since. It also left many questions about Quantum itself open for discussion, as this was the group responsible for killing the woman 007 truly loved, Vesper Lynd. This plot was completely abandoned in 2012's Skyfall. The idea that Mr. White could return is very plausable, and its even possible that he will be revealed as part of Spectre. Could Jesper Christensen be Blofeld?
