It looks like Spider-Man: Far from Home may have confirmed a popular fan theory from Avengers: Endgame. The highly anticipated sequel hit theaters this past week and got an early jump on the 4th of July holiday box office. As of this writing, Far From Home is approaching $600 million globally, which means the $1 billion marker isn't too far away, as long as Marvel Cinematic Universe fans keep flocking to the theater to check it out and it doesn't slow down as quickly as Endgame did. There are SPOILERS for Spider-Man: Far From Home below, so read ahead at your own risk.

When Avengers: Endgame hit theaters back at the end of April, fans were tearing it apart and looking for clues which may lead to the mysterious future of the MCU. One interesting thing that fans found was a possible sighting of Ben Mendelsohn's Talos spotted at Peter Parker's high school when he and Ned reunite in the crowded hall. Some fans instantly believed it was him, while others claim it's a fluke and everybody else should have their eyes checked.

Now that Far From Home is out in theaters, fans who stayed past the epic mid-credit scene were treated to a rather mind blowing post-credit scene, which involves the return of Ben Mendelsohn's Talos. As it turns out, Nick Fury was on vacation the whole time and Talos shapeshifted into Fury for the duration of Far From Home, making some fans want to see the movie all over again. Could it be that Endgame was delivering a Where's Waldo version of foreshadowing for this very moment? Some MCU fans believe it does.

Obviously, Marvel Studios has yet to come out and confirm the Talos and Endgame connection. However, that doesn't mean that they won't at some point down the line. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige may give fans the answer during the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con or even D23, which are both just weeks away now. With that being said, it would be pretty crazy if the studio planted an Easter Egg that deep and fans were proven to be right about it all along.

Spider-Man: Far From Home offered up all kinds of crazy MCU elements for the future, leaving fans demanding answers and a slight sense of paranoia about the third installment. It's going to be a while before we see Tom Holland suit up again and there are some major things he's going to need to take care of, thanks to Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio. Speaking of Holland, Marvel Studios should really go give the young actor a pat on the back for not spoiling everything about Far From Home or Endgame over the last few months. The original Endgame fan theory and its connection to Spider-Man: Far From Home originated from Reddit.
