Ever since production began on Spider-Man: Homecoming earlier this week, we've been treated to a slew of set photos and new casting additions. Today we have more of both, with new images of Tom Holland in action, while actors from two of this year's most popular TV shows have joined the cast. Better Call Saul's Michael Mando and Fargo's Bokeem Woodbine have signed on, although no details about their characters have been confirmed.

Bookeem Woodbine is said to be playing a new villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but his character is being kept under lock and key. If he is playing a villain, he will be the third bad guy joining Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green, rumored to play Vulture and The Tinkerer, respectively. It's possible that Bokeem Woodbine isn't playing a third primary villain, but perhaps an evil associate of either Vulture or The Tinkerer. As for Michael Mando's character, no details were given quite yet.

These new additions join a cast that includes Marisa Tomei as Aunt May and Robert Downey Jr. returning as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Laura Harrier and Michael Barbieri are in unknown roles. The cast is rounded out by Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi and Abraham Attah, but nothing is known about their characters thus far either.

There has been talk that Spider-Man: Homecoming will kick off a new trilogy that is set completely within Peter Parker's high school years. The story will reportedly follow Peter as he tries to balance his school work with fighting crime all over New York City. We don't know how large or small a role Tony Stark/Iron Man will have in this movie, but there has been speculation that other Marvel heroes could show up as well. As for the new set photos, we get new glimpes of Tom Holland, who is seen breaking into a full sprint outside his high school, while clutching a note, but we don't know much else about this scene.

Jon Watts (Cop Car) directs from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein (Vacation), with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing. Marvel and Sony have set a July 7, 2017 release date for Spider-Man: Homecoming, so stay tuned for more details as production continues.
