Yesterday we got our first look at Marisa Tomei as Aunt May in the latest photos from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is still filming in Atlanta. While we still don't know how long production is expected to last for, star Tom Holland shared a new photo from the set, featuring his Spider-Man character lurking in the shadows. The actor also took the time to thank his stunt team for making him look like a "badass" during the production.

It's possible that filming could be wrapping up soon, since the actor took the time to thank George J. Cottle and his stunt team in his Instagram post. It's possible that the stunt team's work on the movie is complete, which could mean that principal photography could also wrap soon, but we don't know for sure. Production started in late June in Atlanta, with the cast and director Jon Watts taking a break in filming to present the first footage at Comic-Con in July.

We know that this story will feature Peter Parker in high school, as he balances his crime-fighting activities with his school work. It has been rumored that this will kick off a new Spider-Man trilogy, with each movie representing a year of his high school career, but that was never confirmed. It isn't known when Marvel plans on releasing full plot details, or confirming the many rumors swirling about several characters.

During a Comic-Con interview, director Jon Watts revealed that Zendaya is playing a character named Michelle, which was backed up by a leaked cast list. However, another rumor surfaced that revealed she is actually playing Peter Parker's iconic comic book love interest Mary-Jane Watson. While the rumor was never confirmed, it still led to many fans expressing their outrage about the young African-American actress, who turned 20 yesterday, playing a character typically portrayed as a white female.

Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Angourie Rice, rumored to be playing Betty Brant, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Peter Parker's schoolyard nemesis, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Laura Harrier portraying Liz Allan. The recently-leaked cast list also revealed Martin Starr as Mr. Harrington and Kenneth Choi as Principal Morita, who some believe is a descendant of the actor's character Jim Morita, one of the Howling Commandos who served under Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger. The cast also includes Michael Keaton, rumored to be playing the main villain Vulture, Donald Glover, Michael Barbieri, Abraham Attah, Logan Marshall-Green, Tyne Daly, Michael Mando, Garcelle Beauvais, J.J. Totah, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Isabella Amara. Take a look at the latest set photo and stay tuned for more on Spider-Man: Homecoming.
