With production continuing on Spider-Man: Homecoming, new photos have surfaced from the set as filming heads into New York City. These photos give us new looks at Tom Holland swinging through the Big Apple. We don't get too much insight into the plot, but we do get a closer look at the updated Spider-Man costume.

The photos surfaced on various Twitter accounts, as onlookers in the Big Apple got a taste of what's in store for Spidey in New York City. It isn't known how much longer filming will continue, with production beginning in Atlanta earlier this summer. We've previously seen a number of photos from the New York set, including photos with Tom Holland stripping in an alley, putting on his Spider-Man costume.

The earlier photos and video showed Tom Holland getting off a subway, but one source revealed even more details. Peter Parker is reportedly standing outside when a "man in a CGI suit," who might be the villainous Vulture, attacks a convenience store, which leads to Peter running into an alley to change into his suit. The source goes on, stating that Peter receives a phone call from Tony Stark, who tells Peter that he isn't responsible since Vulture just "blew off a side of a building and that's why he can't be an Avenger just yet."

We reported earlier this month that this superhero adventure may be using an iconic Avengers location, after Tom Holland posted a set photo at the Porsche headquarters in Atlanta. This same location was used as the new Avengers facility in upstate New York, that was first shown in last year's Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man. That specific location has yet to be confirmed, but we do know that one of the Avengers, Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, is returning in this movie.

Marvel and Sony have set a July 7, 2017 release date for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is currently the only movie set for release on that date. Jon Watts directs from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing. Take a look at the latest set photos and videos as production continues on Spider-Man: Homecoming in New York City.
