While tons of fun, Guardians of the Galaxy wasn't the easiest set to work on. Loads of comic-book action calls for some dangerous stunts and plenty of danger as this ragtag group of mercenaries, thieves and assassins set out to save the universe from a threat bigger than the cosmos itself.

With just a few weeks before it is officially in theaters for the world to see, director James Gunn continues to share never-before-seen photos from his personal collection taken on the sound stages of this epic sci-fi adventure. Here, he shows off some of the war wounds acquired by stars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) and Dave Bautista (Drax). The duo are scrapped up and bruised, but it's all just another day fighting amongst the stars of the Milky Way.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an upcoming film made by Marvel Studios and will be the tenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It follows a group of criminals who must save the galaxy from an evil enemy.
