The British celebrity-spoof show Star Stories is coming to the U.S. According to Variety, VH1 will adapted the overseas hit, which takes potshots at our celeb culture.

The series revolves around a bunch of comedy sketches that send up the tabloid stars of our generation. Each half-hour will revolve around one particular celebrity. VH1 has only ordered a pilot, which will hinge closely to the original British pilot. I'm assuming the actor or actress will be changed for our shores. Or, maybe it will be Victoria Beckham. Guy Ritchie and Madonna, perhaps?

The comedy duo Men of Science are going to write and direct the pilot. Pangea's Karrie Wolfe and Brian Lenard will produce. The show is set to go into production this year for a possible late 2007 airdate.
