With production on the highly-anticipated Star Trek 3 scheduled to begin within the next six months, two of the sequel's stars expressed their confidence that this will be the best movie yet.

While there is still much we don't know about the sequel's story, we reported last month that the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise will be deep into their five-year mission, which began at the end of last year's Star Trek Into Darkness. Karl Urban, reprising his role as Bones in the sequel, attended Destination Star Trek last weekend, where he teased that the fans will love the concept for this follow-up, and that he is meeting with producer J.J. Abrams soon.

"I'm am going to meet with J.J. (Abrams) in a couple of days and I'm looking forward to that. And the important thing is that it is going to be phenomenal. Based on what I hear of the concept, it's going to rock and you guys are going to love it."

John Cho, returning as Sulu in Star Trek 3, held a Reddit AMA, where he praised new director Roberto Orci, who co-wrote Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness and will make his directorial debut on this third installment.

"I'm absolutely confident in Bob. No one knows these characters better than Bob. And no one knows the Star Trek universe better than Bob. I think he's going to blow people away. And I don't know anything about Star Trek 3. I'm guessing I'm in it? I just went in for a costume fitting."
