The Star Trek Beyond fun continues today with even more character posters. This past Friday night, Paramount Pictures debuted the second trailer for their highly-anticipated sci-fi sequel, which hits theaters nationwide July 22. The studio also released three new posters. Yesterday, Paramount started rolling out character posters for each member of the cast, with Sofia Boutella's Jaylah and Karl Urban's Bones getting their own one-sheets. Now two more character posters have arrived. The first features Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock And the second one has Anton Yelchin as Chekov.

Star Trek Beyond, the highly anticipated next installment in Paramount's globally popular Star Trek series, created by Gene Roddenberry and reintroduced by J.J. Abrams in 2009, returns with director Justin Lin (The Fast and the Furious franchise) at the helm of this epic voyage of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her intrepid crew. In Star Trek 3, the Enterprise crew explores the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy who puts them and everything the Federation stands for to the test. The movie comes as the franchise celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the original Star Trek series, which debuted in the fall of 1966.

It has been confirmed that Star Trek Beyond will be set during the U.S.S. Enterprise's five-year mission to explore new worlds. 2009's Star Trek took in $257.7 million at the domestic box office and $385.6 million worldwide, with the 2013 follow-up Star Trek Into Darkness taking in $228.7 million domestically and $467.3 million worldwide. We'll have to wait and see if Star Trek Beyond can out-gross its predecessors this summer. It certainly won't be an easy task, though since this sci-fi thriller will have plenty of competition in mid-July.

It will also be sandwiched between two more highly-anticipated movies, Sony's Ghostbusters on July 15 and Universal's Jason Bourne on July 29. It's too early to tell how well these movies will fare at the box office, but the anticipation for Star Trek Beyond only seems to be getting bigger and bigger, after the release of the new trailer last week.
