Trekkies, get ready. On September 8, 2022, Star Trek Day, there is much in store for all the fans from the days of William Shatner (Captain Kirk) and all who came after him. Not only does this year mark the original series starring premiere with the episode, The Man Trap, on this day in 1966, it is also the 40th anniversary of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. The celebratory event will be livestreamed on the website at starktrek.com/day with the day's events beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET when the broadcast goes live from the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, California. Fans can also livestream the event on the official YouTube pages for Paramount and Facebook (@StarTrek), Twitter (@StarTrekonPPlus) and TikTok (@ParamountPlus). It will also be available to stream for free in the U.S. only on Paramount+’s Twitch page.

Star Trek Day will be hosted by Star Trek: Lower Decks alum Tawny Newsome and Paul F. Tompkins and will feature back-to-back, in-person conversations with cast members from the Star Trek universe, along with exciting announcements and reveals throughout. There will be a red-carpet event to kick things off with co-hosts Jackie Cox (RuPaul's Drag Race) and Mary Chieffo (Star Trek: Discovery) chatting with Star Trek cast members past and present.
