When Paramount Pictures debuted the new poster for Star Trek Into Darkness yesterday, it had many fans wondering when the first trailer will debut. Today, actor Simon Pegg put those questions to rest, revealing that the trailer premieres Thursday, December 6. Take a look at what the British actor had to say through his Twitter account.
Star Trek Into Darkness trailer. Premieres online, this Thursday. Get ready to boldly go again.— Simon Pegg (@simonpegg) December 4, 2012
Hopefully, the actor speaks the truth, and it is not another ruse like J.J. Abrams showing three frames of the sequel on Conan back in October. We also reported last month that the first nine minutes of Star Trek Into Darkness will be attached to IMAX prints of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
In related news, Paramount Pictures has debuted an international release calendar that shows when this highly-anticipated sci-fi adventure will be released around the world.
