Earlier today, we reported that there are just three weeks left of shooting on Star Wars: Episode VII, but it's never too late to add new cast members, with fan favorite Warwick Davis confirmed to appear in this highly-anticipated sequel.

LucasFilm released a humorous video today, which "flashes back" to Warwick Davis' interview with Star Wars: Episode VII producer Kathleen Kennedy, where he asked if he may have a role in this new adventure, before we see the actor taking a call from director J.J. Abrams today.

What remains unclear is exactly what role Warwick Davis may have in Star Wars: Episode VII. The actor made his feature film debut as the Ewok Wicket in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, and he also played Weazel and Wald in the first prequel Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

We reported last month that part of the story may take place on Endor, after details of a massive forest battle were leaked. Naturally, it hasn't been confirmed that the battle is, in fact, on Endor. Could Warwick Davis reprise his role as the lovable Wicket? We'll have to wait and see, but, in the meantime, take a look at the announcement video below.
