When the full cast for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was revealed back in April, the announcement sadly didn't come with the names for any of the new characters played by John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and many others. Today, Entertainment Weekly has revealed the names of these new characters through a set of vintage "trading cards." The unique "ball droid" seen in the first trailer is known as BB-8, while the villainous Sith character with the controversial lightsaber is named Kylo Ren (although we still don't know who is playing this nefarious enemy quite yet). Take a look:

Other character names revealed are Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron, an X-Wing fighter seen briefly in the trailer, Daisy Ridley's Rey, who was previously rumored to be named Kira and John Boyega's Stormtrooper named Finn, although his last name is unknown. Unfortunately, these "trading cards" don't offer any new images, just the photos we saw in the trailer. Hopefully we'll get more details and photos soon. The trading cards also feature the Millennium Falcon, Stormtroopers and the X-Wing fighters in formation.

Check out these trading cards and character names below, and hopefully we'll get to see more of these in the near future, which may give us our first glimpse at classic characters such as Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher). Don't you wish you could get your hands on these trading cards at the store right now? Chime in with your thoughts below.
