Yesterday, we reported that the Disney Channel is airing a new sneak preview of Star Wars: The Force Awakens during tonight's episode of Girl Meets World at 8:30 PM ET. As it turns out, Disney XD UK aired its own preview earlier today, which features small bits of new footage featuring heroes Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). We also get a better look at the villainous General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson) as he fires at an unidentified ship. The brief clip features two intriguing shots, with both Rey and Finn saying "I can do this" while sitting in the cockpits of two unidentified ships.

Last month, a new Chewbacca Topps trading card featured an interesting image of both Rey an Chewie piloting the Millennium Falcon. We also saw Rey sitting in the Falcon cockpit in the behind-the-scenes video that debuted at Comic Con this summer. There have been rumors that this iconic ship isn't actually owned by Han Solo anymore, but that has never been confirmed.

This video also gives us a closer look at one of the numerous alien creatures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While we don't know this creature's name, or where he/she comes from, it was one of the many unspecified aliens seen in the Vanity Fair photo shoot that debuted back in May. This footage also represents the first time we've seen Poe Dameron speak. Not only that, he delivers one of the most iconic lines of dialogue in the entire franchise. While it isn't the most extensive sneak peek, there is plenty of new footage to check out.

It isn't certain if this will be the same video that will air during Girl Meets World tonight on the Disney Channel, or if fans will be treated to even more footage later on tonight. This preview comes after an abundance of Star Wars: The Force Awakens news over the past few days, including the TV trailer that aired last night on ABC, photos and plenty of plot details. We'll keep you posted if the Disney Channel footage is different from the promo you can check out below.

The cast includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow. J.J. Abrams directs Star Wars: The Force Awakens from a script he co-wrote with Lawrence Kasdan, with the director producing alongside Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burk. Take a look at the Disney XD UK promo, and stay tuned for more on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, in theaters December 18.
