Star Wars: The Force Awakens is almost here! We only have 49 days left until the movie opens in theaters across the country on Thursday, December 17. While that's the shortest timeframe through which we've had to wait for the sequel yet, everyone still wants to know what is going on with the movie. But director J.J. Abrams has already said everything he's going to say. And the third and final trailer that debuted last Monday has brought us the last footage we'll see until the premiere. Not even some of J.J. Abrams' closest friends are able to get the storyteller to open up about the movie, as witnessed in a new video where a few well-known faces grill him hard about Star Wars 7 and some of his other projects.

Vanity Fair asked J.J. Abrams to answer a series of questions via his iPad. And he happily accepted the challenge. And it's clear from his facial expressions as each new celebrity gets revealed, that he has not seen these before. Some shock him, some amaze him, some scare him and some he finds just down right annoying. There are plenty of laughs to be had, too, as he is grilled by Silicon Valley stars T.J. Miller and Thomas Middleditch, Girls star Lena Dunham and Empire co-creator Lee Daniels, who demand to know why J.J. Abrams never hired him to direct an episode of Lost.

When Suicide Squad star Jared Leto comes on the iPad, J.J. Abrams looks genuinely concerned for his safety. The purple haired actor, who portrays the Joker, wants to know why he wasn't cast as Chewbacca the Wookie. He claims he could fully submerse himself in the role. And, he has the keen ability to grow hair all over his body. Probably the coolest part of the video has Star Wars creator George Lucas stepping in to ask what happened to Darth Vader's grandchildren. J.J. Abrams had this to say.

"Oh George. This is great. Uh, you tell me, man. You make all this shit up."

Not even George Lucas can get J.J. Abrams to drop a spoiler! That's some dedication to the mystery box. At this time, there is no indication that any of the new characters in Star Wars: The Force Awakens are the children of Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia. But we don't yet know the last names of Rey and Finn, and it's heavily speculated that Daisy Ridley's character is the new Jedi. Perhaps she calls Anakin Grandpa? And perhaps the Vader obsessed Kylo Ren is looking to add her to his collection?

However The Force Awakens plays out, we won't know until opening day. No matter how hard J.J. Abrams's celebrity friends try to pry into the mystery box. Katie Couric does get the director to spill his plans for opening night. Which mainly consist of sleeping. Throughout the video, J.J. Abrams also teases that he is developing a new Netflix series called 'Binks and I', which will revolve around the future adventures of Jar Jar Binks. There are a couple of other surprises in this funny video. Take a look, and then be prepared for some sort of shocking reveal when Star Wars 7 finally unspools for the world to see in two very long, agonizing months!
